The open singles tournament and the open doubles tournament at the 2027 Dutch Open Darts are completely full. Within a week, no fewer than 4,000 players registered for the open singles and 2,000 pairs for the open doubles tournament.
A maximum of 4,096 players can participate in the open singles tournament. The remaining 96 spots will be filled by the NDB.
For the open doubles tournament, the limit is 2,048 pairs, with the additional 48 spots to be filled by the NDB.
Are you a former champion, a (semi-)professional player, or do you consistently compete at a high level in Dutch and international darts? And haven’t you registered yet? Be sure to contact us no later than January 18 at: [email protected]
We are currently collecting all requests, and they will all be reviewed at the end of January.
If any spots become available, which is very likely, they will be made available again on February 3 at 5:00 p.m. via the regular online registration form. You can then register using the usual registration form, so be sure to keep an eye out!
Registration is still open for all other categories and will close on Thursday, February 4, 2027.

Of course, we would love to offer even more players the opportunity to participate. We would therefore like to explain why this is not possible at this time.
In recent years, the number of participants has grown significantly. That is, of course, a fantastic development. However, we are limited by the venue’s maximum capacity due to safety regulations. In addition, there is a limit to the number of matches that can be played in a single day on the current number of courts. For that reason, we are forced to set a maximum number of registrations.
We are aware of De Bonte Wever’s expansion plans for 2027. If these plans are realized, they may provide more space for future editions. Hopefully, this will allow us to increase the maximum number of registrations, or even eliminate it altogether, starting in 2028.
We hope you’ll still be able to secure a spot on February 3. If, unfortunately, that doesn’t work out, we hope to welcome you next year!
We thank everyone for their tremendous enthusiasm and interest in the event and look forward to a wonderful edition.
