A record number of participants have signed up for the TOTO Dutch Open Darts 2025. A total of 8,364 registrations!

“This is, of course, a fantastic result. An absolute record number of registrations. It shows that the TOTO Dutch Open Darts is incredibly popular and that people are eager to participate. Players from 36 different countries will come to Assen. We will do everything we can to make the 2025 edition a wonderful event for all participants and spectators,” said tournament director Paul Engelbertink.

Numbers:
A total of 1,021 men and 89 women will participate in the warming-up tournament on Thursday, January 30. On Friday, the pairs tournament is on the program, featuring 2,153 men’s pairs and 205 women’s pairs. Last year, these numbers were 1,707 men’s pairs and 174 women’s pairs.

On Saturday, the singles tournament for seniors will take place. Among the men, 4,175 players will step up to the oche, while 354 women will participate. This represents a significant increase in the number of participants for both men and women. Last year, there were 3,422 men’s singles and 320 women’s singles.

Youth participation numbers are also continuing to rise, as seen in previous years. On Sunday morning, 203 juniors, 54 aspirants, and 27 girls will compete in the youth tournament. During the last edition, these numbers were 144 juniors, 49 aspirants, and 23 girls. A great step forward!

In the various categories for paradarts, we also see promising figures. A total of 17 pairs will compete, while the paradarts singles tournament for wheelchair players will feature 26 participants. Among the standing paradarters, 40 players will compete.

Draw and player cards:
Registration is now closed, and the draw will be announced in the week before the start of the tournament. Player cards will also be sent out shortly thereafter.
