Rhian O’Sullivan Queen of Assen: Welshwoman wins TOTO Dutch Open Darts 2025

Rhian O’Sullivan had a dream weekend. After winning the TOTO Dutch Open Darts 2025 warm-up tournament on Thursday, the Welsh dart player also claimed the singles tournament title.

Beau Greaves was the clear favorite, but the English player didn’t even make it to the stage for the women’s singles final on Sunday afternoon. Rhian O’Sullivan had impressively defeated the world champion on Saturday, setting up a final against the home favorite, Lerena Rietbergen. The Dutch player crowned her rise with a place in the biggest final in the Netherlands, but she couldn’t make a stand in the first three legs. O’Sullivan hit legs in 16, 21, and 19 darts, quickly taking a 3-0 lead. Rietbergen showed her strength with a 96 finish to get on the board.

However, Rietbergen couldn’t apply pressure on O’Sullivan’s legs. The Welshwoman reached match point, but Rietbergen started to find her rhythm. The number two in the WDF pulled back to 4-2 and then had four darts to bring the match back to level. Unfortunately for her, the outer ring was not kind, giving O’Sullivan the chance to claim her first-ever Dutch Open title. With a 57 finish, it was done: after winning the warm-up tournament, O’Sullivan also claimed the singles title at the Dutch Open.

Averages
Rhian O’Sullivan: 73,46
