What fantastic winners among the paradarters on this Saturday at the Dutch Open Darts in Assen! South Korea’s Kwanghee Cho added the standing paradarts singles title at De Bonte Wever to the pairs title he won a day earlier. Meanwhile, Belgium’s Vincent D’hondt made history by winning the Dutch Open Darts wheelchair title for the fourth consecutive year.
Kwanghee Cho from South Korea delivered an excellent level of play at the oche throughout the day. In the final he defeated Dutch player Ria Niemeijer, winning 4–0. After claiming the pairs title on Friday together with Michelovic van Velzen, Cho also secured the individual crown.
Cho had beaten his Dutch pairs partner Van Velzen in the quarterfinals (3–0) with an average of over 80, and then eliminated Germany’s Ralf Huesman in the semifinals (3–1). Ria reached the final by first defeating Belgium’s Jackie Goethals (3–0) and then overcoming fellow Dutchman Brian Wielaard in a deciding-leg semifinal, 3–2.
Four in a row

In the final he proved too strong for Dutchman and current NDB national ranking leader Michel van den Hengel, winning 4–2. The match was level at 2–2, but the Belgian then took two legs in a row to seal the prestigious title.
On his way to the final, D’hondt defeated Albert Lubbelinkhof in the semifinals (3–0) and Rob Edmonds in the quarterfinals (also 3–0). Michel reached the final by beating Martijn van Dijk (3–1) and Carel Scholten (3–1).
