D’hondt retains title, Vandekerckhove defeats champion Bohnhorst

Vincent D’hondt is once again the TOTO Dutch Open Darts champion. The Belgian retained his title among the seated paradarters on Saturday. Kurt Vandekerckhove triumphed among the standing paradarters.

Back-to-back
In the final of the seated paradarts tournament, D’hondt faced Serge van Belle, with whom he had won the doubles title the day before. Van Belle threw an excellent game but couldn’t match the scoring and finishing abilities of his compatriot. The score ended 4-0.

For Vincent D’hondt, the final victory marked the end of a fantastic day. The Belgian only lost one leg throughout the tournament, which was in the semifinal against Jurgen Vercammen.

Vandekerckhove prevails
Vandekerckhove can now call himself the Dutch Open Darts 2024 champion after a convincing victory over Heiko Bohnhorst: 4-1. The German titleholder took the first leg, but then the Belgian gained momentum. Vandekerckhove maintained a high level of play throughout the tournament and hardly encountered any difficulties.
